Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl Writes Thank You Note to Fans

The Foo Fighters have experienced a rollercoaster of emotions as they've made their way back to performing live, and it hasn't gone unnoticed by Dave Grohl. Now that the first batch of concerts has wrapped up, Grohl took a moment to craft a heartwarming "appreciation note" for their fans, whose unwavering support has been the band's lifeline during this comeback journey.

For the uninitiated, the Foo Fighters have hit the road again, a year following the devastating loss of their drummer, Taylor Hawkins. Their grieving period doubled with the death of Grohl's mom, Virginia Hanlon Grohl, leaving a significant mark on the band. These losses have found a voice in the Foo Fighters' latest album, "But Here We Are," a critically acclaimed record, tackling grief and personal loss head-on.

They recently let fans in on a big update - Josh Freese would be on drums for their tours, although Grohl showed off his drumming skills on their fresh-off-the-press album.

Hey,
It's been a while .....
Now that we've returned from our first run of shows, I felt compelled to reach out and thank you all for being there for us.
Every night, when I see you singing, it makes me sing harder. When I see you screaming, it makes me scream louder. When I see your tears, it brings me to tears. And when I see your joy, it brings me joy. But, I see you ... and it feels good to see you, churning up these emotions together.
Because we've always done this together.
Time and Time Again.
See You Soon.
David
