U2 is set to commence their U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere Las Vegas residency shows shortly. In preparation for the concert series that begins at the end of next month, the band is also launching a unique fan experience called Zoo Station: A U2:UV Experience.
Zoo Station: An Overview
Designed in collaboration between U2 and their longtime creative director Gavin Friday, Zoo Station will be located within The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. The space will span over 12,000 square feet and will be spread across two floors. The area aims to offer fans an interactive exhibit experience related to the band.
Anton Corbijn Gallery
Within Zoo Station, visitors can explore the Anton Corbijn Gallery. This gallery will display video footage and photography spanning five decades. The work is curated by photographer Anton Corbijn, who has a long-standing creative relationship with the band.
Merchandise and Retail
Fans can also avail themselves of the U2 Pop-Up Shop located within Zoo Station. The shop will sell a variety of music titles from U2, as well as new and exclusive merchandise items.
Zoo TV Cinema
Curated by U2’s guitarist, The Edge, the Zoo TV Cinema will screen five films daily. These screenings will include rare and unreleased concert footage, as well as new documentary films like "Beyond The Tour" and "A Day In The Life Of The Edge."
The ground floor of Zoo Station, housing the Anton Corbijn Gallery, the pop-up shop, and other interactive installations, will be open to the general public for free. The upper floor, where Zoo TV Cinema is located, will be accessible only to ticketholders for the U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere residency.
